Reduction of the noise at source
Acoustic Imagery :
A set of methods allowing to get a sound mapping representing the sources in a more or less accurate way. These maps will allow the NVH engineering to locate and identify the different sound sources.
Several imagery techniques are available, they will be selected according to the apllication and the result expected.

Path Search :
The acoustic impact study between one or several sources and receiving point requires the knowledge of transmission paths, several methods can be used for this approach :
-
The transmission path analysis (TPA) is an analysis technique to know the contribution of forces at an acoustic or vibratory receiving point.
-
The advanced transfer path analysis (APTA) is an analysis technique to know the panel contribution and for each panel the forces contribution passing through different connection points. Click here to download the technical data sheet TRANSMISSION PATH ANALYSIS.
-
The analysis of consistency matrix and analysis of partial consistency to know the contribution of the source sensors and intermediate sensors at an acoustic or vibratory receiving point.
