Engineering of Steam Blow-off Silencers

Within all industries that use fluids under pressure, the noise caused by the pressure release of fluid constitutes an important contributor to environmental noise. The steam blow-off silencers are designed to reduce the noise caused by a pressure relief valve at the time of the release of a fluid (air, nitrogen, vapour…). The specific dimensioning of each silencer is carried out according to the required residual noise level and flow parameters.
